TMS470 CPU initialization, memory and stack setup

Can anybody point at some good documentation or C/asm code for the 
TMS470 to do CPU, memory and stack(s) initialization.
I'm using the TI Code Composer and compiler on a project for a customer 
to run small test programs in 4K of RAM.  So the code's gotta be efficient.
