Hi Mr.Mark,
Currently, we are using newlib for arm1026ejs core(compiled with arm-elf target). But new lib doesn't have the support for posix thread library. From the announcement, we came to know that glibc with thread support will be provided on 2005-Q1(i.e. April-2004). Currently we need posix thread library. So how can we get the posix thread library??
Could you please suggest the solution for this problem???
We are planning on adding POSIX thread support to GLIBC in the near
future. In fact, one of our developers is actively working on that.
ARM has already developed a lot of the code required. So, although it
will not be part of our official release until 2005-Q1, it is likely
that you will be able to build GLIBC with POSIX threads in the next
month or two. However, GLIBC only works on GNU/Linux systems. If you
are not running the Linux kernel, it will not work for you. In that
case, I am not sure what to suggest.
