error building opencv for ARM in scratchbox

I get a compiler error building opencv with -O3 as per "configure".
If I build with -O2 it is OK.

I also had this problem I believe with one object in "gnuplot"

running under scratchbox version 1.0.8
on Fedora Core 4 on i386 (AMD Athlon)
