[arm-gnu] Profiling with CodeSourcery

Sir,

I am using CodeSourcery Lite Tool Chain for arm926EJ-S core I.MX21 .
I would like to know how to do profiling for my cross compiled code or 
in other words I would like to know how to use arm-none-eabi-gprof.

-pg option when compiling throws "Undefined reference to mcount"

Please let me know if there is a way to solve this error.
