Last Week
=========
Jeffrey implemented the hydrodynamics kernel suggested by Pat and Don.
This kernel will be a good testbed for benchmarking, and also
demonstrates that Jeffrey has come up to speed very quickly on POOMA.
Jeffrey also read a paper describing calculations done by Chevron, and
talked to Scott about that paper. The conclusion was that the paper
uses a calculation in many ways similar to the hydrodynamics kernel.
These calculations can already be expressed in POOMA, but Jeffrey
thinks that a few new operations would make it easier to express them.
Stephen implemented cross-box support for the new Field class.
Jim and Scott worked on the new Field abstractions.
Julian finished cleaning up some of the code, fixing bugs and avoiding
the use of outdated C++ constructs.
Next Week
=========
Stephen will investigate memory leaks in updaters.
Stephen, Jim, and Scott will continue to design the new Field
abstractions.
