Did this get checked in yet?
Would it be useful to make an "ncet" branch of VSIPL++ to use for this,
so we can get it checked in now to use for the code drop we'll make to
AFRL and Pal, but still wait until it's polished up (if it still needs
work) and documented before putting it into the VSIPL++ trunk?
