Enablement Engineer

CodeSourcery is seeking an excellent communicator with a strong embedded application engineering background. In this capacity, you will develop tutorial documentation, sample applications, and knowledgebase entries for CodeSourcery's toolchain and high-performance computing products. You will modify these products to better support new systems and directly support users of these products. You will be a critical part of enabling CodeSourcery's customers to make effective use of our products.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate his or her technical writing skills by providing examples of previous work. Familiarity with DocBook, or other structured markup languages, is an advantage. The candidate will also have experience with low-level embedded programming, including topics like memory-mapped peripherals, initialization and boot-up sequences, and programming in assembly language. Experience with Java and XML is a significant advantage.

This is a full-time position. If accepted for this position, you will be part of a growing, highly-technical company building software to help customers take full advantage of their hardware. And you will have the luxury of working from your own home.
