High-Performance Computing Engineer

CodeSourcery is seeking an outstanding high-performance computing engineer with detailed hardware and algorithmic knowledge. In this capacity, you will enhance CodeSourcery's Sourcery VSIPL++ library, which provides a high-level API for high-performance signal- and image-processing. You will be responsible for delivering high performance on new and existing architectures and for working with CodeSourcery's customers.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with extracting performance from a variety of hardware, taking advantage of SIMD architectures, as well as multi-thread, multi-process, and multi-core techniques. Familiarity with OpenMP is expected; experience with MPI is a definite advantage. In addition, domain-specific knowledge of radar, sonar, tomography, and image-rendering algorithms is highly desirable. Knowledge of GPGPU techniques, including OpenCL and CUDA, is a significant advantage.

This is a full-time position open only to citizens of the United States of America.
