About the ColdFire 2007q3 Release

New features in this release include:

• Support for the ColdFire V1 architecture and the 51QE CPU.

• Instruction scheduling optimizations for ColdFire V1, V2, and V3 cores.

• Bare metal toolchains now include CS3 — the CodeSourcery Common Startup Code Sequence.

• GCC has been upgraded to GCC 4.2.1.

• The Sourcery G++ Debug Sprite now supports TBLCF hardware on Microsoft Windows hosts.
