Binary packages of Sourcery VSIPL++ 1.4 are available for IA32/AMD64/EM64T systems
running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0, IA32 systems running Microsoft Windows XP, and Power GNU/Linux
systems running Fedora Core 7. If you are running Sun's Solaris, Mercury's MCOE, or
another version of GNU/Linux, you can download the source code for Sourcery VSIPL++, and build the library yourself.

You must have an ISO-compliant C++ compiler to use Sourcery VSIPL++. CodeSourcery
recommends Sourcery G++, but you may also use GNU C++ (version 3.4.4 or later),
the Green Hills C++ compiler provided with Mercury MCOE systems, or the
Intel C++ compiler (version 9.1 or later).
